Position: Food safety manager

Role responsibilities

  1. Implement and manage quality management systems
  2. Implement and manage HACCP\VACCP and TACCP
  3. Management of measurement and testing equipment and processes
  4. Lead Quality Improvement program
  5. Support Innovation & Change
  6. Manage people, culture & linkage
  7. Escalating serious non-conformances related to the quality pillar
  8. Approval of site quality procedures
  9. Rejection of food safety related to non-conforming products
  10. Placing product on hold, recommending the rejection of quality related to non-conforming products

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG (Bakery or Mill advantageous)
  • Experience in managing external audits
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Outlook, PowerPoint, and ExcelTQM or Quality qualification advantageous
